This past weekend marked the anniversary of Harold Orenstein’s passing. He was my music manager, mentor, and friend. He was a legend in his field, representing just about everybody, such as Hank Williams Sr, the Everly Bros, Buddy Holly, Acuff-Rose Publishing, Paul Simon, The Rolling Stones, Gordon Lightfoot (tune to 2:25), and Frank Loesser (they sued Led Zeppelin over Whole Lotta Love and won!). There’s plenty more stories to tell. Thinking of you, Harold. Miss you dearly.
